Us Millennials kind of got the short end of the stick in life. We inherited a ruined economy, most of us are in a crap-load of student debt, and then to round it all out our Baby Boomer parents like to blame us for being “lazy” and “entitled.” Not an entirely fair accusation coming from a generation that makes us work for free in exchange for “exposure.”

USA Today Tweeted on Tuesday that the average American adult spends too much money on “nonessential items” including takeout food and “impulse purchases,” and that such expenses can rack up nearly $18,000 per year in unnecessary expenses.
Obviously, the tweet angered a lot of people and has inspired a bunch of hilarious roasts by angry Millennials, which you can read below.
