Sure, once in a while have made it through the Monday-Friday work this week, but what are we left with? A few pennies and extremely depleted energy levels? Fortunately for everyone you tired sad sacks, we have got some memes that require very little brain power and will leave you a bit happier you were before.
It’s International Yoga Day, so roll out your mat and get into that downward dog! We have to give a disclaimer though: these memes are not good. In fact, they’re straight-up cheesy and will probably make your mom giggle almost as much as she does when she sees Minion memes. Regardless, we hope they can make you laugh, or at the very least roll your eyes!
Lord of the Rings memes aren’t hard to come by. Fans of the movies and the books have made it clear that they’re talented meme-makers, and this trending format, from The Fellowship of the Ring, proves that the LOTR meme possibilities are pretty much endless. This particular meme features the characters Elrond (Hugo Weaving) and Isildur (Harry Sinclair) standing above a fiery volcano. Elrond pleads with the mortal Isildur to cast the evil ring into the lava below. He refuses. Similar refusals are being featured in the trending meme, mostly to hilarious and relatable results.
Keanu Reeves memes are popping up all over the internet. His appearance at E3, tragic past, and roles in beloved movies such as John Wick have given him a wholesome hero status, at least on the internet. A new crop of memes is adding some weirdly cute and decidedly dank edge to this role. The memes rely on a photoshopped image of the actor that makes him look extremely short, and it’s being used in some seriously hilarious and relatable ways.
Our parents didn’t grow up with texting or smartphones like we did, so understandably they may be a little lost sometimes when trying to navigate the world of technology. However, that doesn’t mean we aren’t going to laugh at their valiant efforts!
And of course, we have to remind you that Mother’s Day is on May 12th this year!
Congratulations, we’ve made it (barely) through Monday. I think we all deserve a reward. What kind of reward? Oh, the kind that allows our brain to shut down and tiny chuckles to escape our tired mouths. That’s right, we’re talking about memes, tweets, and other dumb pics!
We complain about our families a lot – from the trope of the dreaded mother-in-law to sibling rivalry. Some of these relationships are as bad or worse than the stereotypes, but a lot of the time we’re just so lucky to be around these people who love us unconditionally. We’re even more grateful for all the hilarity that our funny families provide us with for free.
Finally, we’ve done it. We’ve crafted the ultimate gallery of “Karen” memes for you in case you’re feeling spiteful toward all the irritating middle-aged white moms in the world who talk to down to customer service workers.
Don’t know what the hell we’re talking about when we say “Karen”? Well first of all, have you been living under a rock for the past year? In all seriousness though, a “Karen” tends to be a middle-aged white mom who demands to speak with the manager at the smallest inconvenience. We all know her.
Know Your Meme can probably explain the Karen craze better than we can!
We’re often somewhat shocked by the creative dumbness we see on Twitter, and this ASCII meme makes us feel just that. The stomach-centric format riffs on the contents of ones stomach, or one’s mother’s – and mostly uses this to convey some seriously self-deprecating messages.
