Mary, do you accept John as your lawfully wedded husband?
If you do press (ent).
If you don’t press (esc).
Chance the Rapper released former much-awaited debut album The main Day on This summer 26th, and fans have been disappointed and annoyed that much of the memory book seems to be about how much Chance cares for his wife, Kirsten Corley. Circumstance has been open about the fact that typically album was inspired by his wedding , but that hasn’t stopped fanatics and critics from parodying the type of artist with videos and on Twitter advertising. The most notable parody comes from @charliewinsmore , in the form of the perfect cringey song with simplistic words of the tune praising said wife. The twitting have been pretty good, too – a good deal of acknowledgement that Chance is going Borat. And fortunately Chance doesn’t look as if too phased by the roastin’ and toastin’. While he gets deep through this Twitter thread , these rapper sticks by his connaissance – he loves his dearest!
Want to feel like absolute clips about love in a digital worldwide? Well, cartoonist Tommy Siegel has many cartoons for you! He’s taken Necco’s (RIP) classic conversation hearts and also a seriously dark spin inside the Valentine’s confection. Marriage ain’t what it seems to be like on Instagram or television (most of the time). It can be boring, it stressful, and it can take a lot of purpose. But commitment can also mean scores of laughing at the mundane and a significant of love. That’s what these marriage memes are all about.
In case you thought your in-laws were bad, just wait until you read this story because man is it a bad one. And by bad we mean terribly entertaining. Tragically, the Redditor deleted the original post, but lucky for us Twitter user @JakeMHS dug it up for our enjoyment.
So strap in for a wild ride, people!
What is it with these entitled people? Does no one in this world have any amount of chill anymore?
Honestly, we almost think this “influencer” might just be a regular-ass person demanding free stuff. Although, we do have to give them some due props for coming up with a scheme this elaborate, like DAMN.
In this day and age, women in the Western world have the freedom to pursue almost anything they want. Unfortunately, there are some people who feel the need to broadcast their regressive views from the 1950s over social media. We’re totally all for women doing whatever they want – housewifery included – but this Twitter user made her husband sound like a straight-up manchild who can’t take care of himself.
With the cost of living constantly skyrocketing, being a housewife without a full-time job isn’t really an option for most women anymore, and these Twitter users masterfully parodied this woman’s tweet with all of that in mind!
It’s important to be able to share things with your partner, whether you’ve just started dating or have been coupled for what feels like an eternity. This means sharing hopes, dreams, fears, and most importantly, memes. These particular specimens range from sappy relationship memes to savagely relatable, and they’re sure to make your significant other or crush smile, laugh, or feel personally attacked. All good options.
Holy mother of entitled a-holes, y’all!
We don’t like stereotyping people, but we all know the classic trope of the “bridezilla” who has to have everything her way and will stop at absolutely nothing to get it. To an extent, we sort of understand that behavior – planning a wedding is an incredibly stressful thing after all. However, this insane bride took the whole “entitled” thing waaay too far. It’s really no surprise that she’s on her third marriage!
The internet’s latest obsession is with “Cliff Wife,” which stems from YouTuber Shonduras’s video “JENNY FELL OFF THE TRAIL…scary moment for our family,” where his wife Jenny unimpressively tumbles off the trail onto some rocks while hiking.
Accordingly, the internet has started mocking the incident as “over-dramatic” with memes and reaction tweets. Is this super mean and totally going too far? Probably, but it should come as no surprise that the internet often shows no mercy when it comes to capitalizing off of someone else’s pain.
So anyway, here are some of the best reactions that we’ve been able to find. Enjoy!
Yesterday was an intense day for gaming drama, and today we are reaping the very meme-y benefits. Youtube game reviewer Jared Knabenbauer was called out announcing his impending divorce from his wife, Heidi O’Ferrall. In the announcement, ProJared wrote that he hoped he and O’Ferrall could go through the process with style and grace. Unfortunately, his soon-to-be ex-wife couldn’t even see the message. She had already been blocked. The reason for the blocking became clear after O’Ferrall began tweeting that her husband had been cheating on her for some time with Holly Conrad, whom O’Ferrall had considered a friend.
Heidi’s Twitter thread gets super real, going as far as to accuse ProJared of soliciting nudes from underage fans. According to Kotaku, at least 7 fans have backed up these claims. It seems the internet doesn’t take kindly to creeping or cheating, and memers have been seriously sticking it ProJared. It ain’t pretty, but we think he’s getting what he deserves. We’ve included much of the drama and many of the memes below, but for more of the dirt, visit Know Your Meme.
Marriageis supposed to be somewhat of a sacred union. You’re vowing to spend the rest of your life with someone, in sickness and in health. You’re also spending a sht ton of money, forcing your guests to spend a sht ton of money, and probably enforcing dress codes and attire that everyone will be ashamed of in twenty years. These, uh, creative couples decided to go the extra mile and make it so their photos should either be burned or mocked relentlessly. We’re going with the latter, and honestly, we’re kind of sorry to make you look at these absolute atrocities.
It’s hard enough to keep one person alive and happy, yet here we humans are, pledging to help keep another poor soul happy in sickness and in health. While marriage supposedly has its romantic perks, there are a whole lot of un-sexy aspects to holy matrimony. That’s what these memes are all about.
Relationships and marriages certainly have their ups and downs. Along with the intimacy and friendship come stupid fights and a lot of sass. There’s also some hilarious inside jokes and those stereotypes we all pretend aren’t true. These tweets definitely paint a pretty accurate picture of the glamour.
Dear God (no pun intended), this story is a hoot if we ever saw one. When this girl didn’t get invited to her friend’s bachelorette party in Vegas, she made a scene until the bride decided to invite her. It doesn’t stop there though: she then sent out an email with a list of very Christian-influenced “rules” for the bride and her friends, and let’s just say they’re quite tame for a bachelorette getaway in Sin City…

Congratulations. We’ve made it through another boring day with very little to show for it. What better way to celebrate the inevitability of death than with some completely mediocre memes?

As you get older your single friends start coupling up, leaving you feeling like a perpetual third wheel or the resident babysitter. Of course there are perks to singlehood – not spending money on divorce, lack of fights, and, of course, eating whatever the hell you want, whenever you want. These tweets celebrate the ups and downs of the single life. It’s important to remember the good stuff.
