Seniors, we totally get you. We get you so much that it hurts, because we’ve all been there. You’re in the very last stretch of your last semester of school (maybe ever) and you’ve already passed all your classes, so what’s even the point of going to school anymore? Sometimes you just gotta leave a permanent mark so that everyone remembers you, and what better way to do that than with a clever senior quote that screams “I don’t give a f*ck?”
If you’re old and aren’t familiar with what “Kahoot” is, it’s a user-generated educational quiz game played by students all over the world. Once a student creates a quiz, aka a “Kahoot,” it generates a pin number that others can enter into their computers or mobile devices in order to join in. A trivia question with four multiple-choice answers pops up on a communal screen and players can pick their answer.
As you can probably guess, students go nuts over this game – probably because it’s a hell of a lot more interesting than sitting in class listening to a boring-ass teacher talk for an hour!
There are SO MANY fricking math puns we could make right now, but we’ll spare you the annoyance. Before we go off on too much of a tangent about math puns, please enjoy these dumb math memes that would make any mathematician giggle like a little school girl. Why? Just cos.
Every student knows that reading out of a textbook is boring as sh*t. Accordingly, these students decided to “enhance” their textbook illustrations, which was certainly a terrible idea, but also hilarious and we’re here for it.
And of course, we’re not telling you to go out and deface your textbooks, so please don’t actually do that.
Usually when a teacher disciplines a student it’s for a good reason – kids can often be little sh*ts as we all know. However, teachers are human too and they make mistakes just like the rest of us in the form of completely unnecessary discipline. These Twitter users are (understandably) still a little bitter about their unjust punishments!
It can be a bit of a trip thinking about how you’ve changed as a person from your high school years to now. It’s probably safe to say that a lot of us went from partying every weekend as teenagers to passing out by 9pm on Saturday nights without the help of alcohol. It’s all just a part of the inevitable cycle of life!
These people are tweeting about the cringey ways they’ve grown (or back-pedaled) since their teen years, under the hashtag “High School Me Vs Adult Me.”
Whether or not you enjoyed your high school experience, you were probably infected by the senioritis bug at some point – some of us earlier than others. Unfortunately we definitely weren’t clever enough to write anything cool for our senior yearbook quotes, but luckily these kids filled that void with some serious snark.
After that massively disappointing Superbowl halftime show, you’re probably looking for your Spongebob fix. Well, we got you. Spongebob will never get old, no matter how old you are. They might just be memes, but we can pretty much guarantee that they’ll be better than the crap you had to sit through on Sunday.
A quick warning: if you’re a Millennial then scrolling through the following will probably make you feel really old and sad. Believe it or not, kids today (AKA Generation Z) will never understand the struggles of dial-up internet, or fangirling the crap over the Backstreet Boys. If you’re not feeling old yet, then don’t worry because it’s only a matter of time!
If you’ve been on the internet over the past week then you’ve probably heard about the “how hard did aging hit you challenge,” in which people on social media compare photos of themselves from 2009 with a current photo from 2019. The challenge started on Facebook and quickly gained popularity on other platforms, also inspiring some people to make satirical then-and-now posts.
