30 Fresh Avengers Memes That'll Scratch Your MCU Itch

Marvel Studios recently announced plans to re-release Avengers: Endgame with new footage, as soon as next weekend. While none of the new footage seems to be dramatic (it’s all after the credits) fans are still getting psyched – as is pretty clear from the continued influx of Avengers memes. Here are some of the fresher one’s we’ve found this week!

30 Marvel Memes For Anyone Who’s Still Coping With ‘Endgame’

30 Marvel Memes For Anyone Who's Still Coping With 'Endgame'

If you’ve been on the internet at all in the last month, you’ve definitely seen the insane output of Marvel memes. If we had to guess, we’d say that people are funneling all those Avengers: Endgame feels into meme-making and meme-scrolling. The prevalence may be annoying, but we’d rather scroll past the content than be subjected to endless rants about what could have been done differently.

‘Impressed Thor’ Memes Are A Welcome Departure From Thanos-Mania

'Impressed Thor' Memes Are A Welcome Departure From Thanos-Mania

We’ve been inundated with Avengers: Endgame memes for over a month, and we’re happy to report that there’s finally one making the rounds that doesn’t involve Josh Brolin’s Thanos. These memes focus instead on the Hulk and Thor, played by Mark Ruffalo and Chris Hemsworth. The photos used are of Hulk trying out the Infinity gauntlet and Thor giving him two thumbs up when it actually works. It’s mostly  being used to illustrate situations in which people are impressed by feats that are decidedly unimpressive. Here are our favorites.

Thanos’ ‘Gone. Reduced To Atoms’ Is A Meme About Anything That Mysteriously Disappears

Thanos' 'Gone. Reduced To Atoms' Is A Meme About Anything That Mysteriously Disappears

The trend of using dramatic stills from Avengers: Endgame  to make memes that describe mundane, everyday situations is far from dead. The latest format to be exploited features Thanos telling the Avengers that the infinity stones are “Gone. Reduced to ashes.” The words are pretty melodramatic, so they’re lending themselves to situations that are anything but: think, eating the last of the shredded cheese while drunk, or stealing someone’s leftovers. Despite their banality, the memes are super relatable, so the format is continuing to pop up all over Instagram and Reddit.

‘Steve Rogers Going Through Time’ Memes Are Still Spicing Up The Timeline

'Steve Rogers Going Through Time' Memes Are Still Spicing Up The Timeline

Late last week we were hit with a barrage of memes about Avengers character Captain America (Chris Evans) flexing his time-travelling knowledge on his boo, Peggy Carter. Steve Rogers never looked so smart. We put together a healthy selection of the memes, but they just keep. On. Coming. And they appear to be getting spicier.

Another day, another dank Avengers: Endgame meme! The r/dankmemes subreddit has been flooded with Captain America (Chris Evans) memes for the past two days, and these particular formats deal heavily with history. In Endgame, chooses to travel through time permanently to spend the rest of his days with Peggy Carter, the love of his life. These memes address the fact that the former Captain America would have a wealth of historical knowledge that Peggy lacks – and can even use it to his advantage. The result is a versatile dank meme that’s endlessly entertaining.

‘I’m Still Worthy’ Memes Are Proof That Endgame Content Isn’t Going Anywhere

'I'm Still Worthy' Memes Are Proof That Endgame Content Isn't Going Anywhere

If you’re tired of Avengers: Endgame memes, please remove yourself from this meme dump. The film may have been released nearly a month ago, but the memes are apparently going strong. This latest format features our favorite Asgardian God, Thor. In Endgame, Thor has let himself go and fallen into a depression. His mom (portrayed by Rene Russo) gives him a talking to, resulting in the golden boy’s exclamation “I’m still worthy!” The mama’s boy moment is getting meme’d to oblivion, and here are some of the most primo examples.

If these memes leave you wanting more, check out these dank memes from his very own movie, Thor: Ragnarok.
